I have noticed that that in some cases, Moo! mistakes the Intel iGPU for the AMD one, and I've resorted to actually removing the device driver for the iGPU to get the dGPU to be used. A bit frustrating, since the iGPU is usefully for a few projects.

Yesterday and today I updated Mint 18.3 (including a minor update of the Nvidia driver) and Win 7 (no driver update), and ran Folding@Home and Moo! Wrapper as smoke tests. F@H worked on both systems. "Distributed.net Client v1.04 (opencl_nvidia_101) x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" worked on Mint + driver 384.13.

Incidentally, "Distributed.net Client v1.04 (opencl_nvidia_101) windows_intelx86" on Win 7 + driver 387.92 failed immediately with "Unable to initialize OpenCL".

I haven't run the OpenCL version of dnetc on this PC before. It's a host without Intel IGP (Xeon E5v4, X99 chipset, 3x 1080ti). I am not going to investigate further, because whenever I can spare this host for distributed computing, it will run Linux, not Windows.

I was curious which teams are stronger in the marathons, and which in the sprints. I checked now for league 1.

This is all very volatile for now. ~2 hours later, and it's LAF 559 : TeAm 556.

They didn't jump forwards in the sprint, so I browsed through the graphs at http://statseb.boinc-af.org/details_FB.py but didn't spot any recent advance of theirs in marathons. Either the graphs haven't updated, or the 555 : 556 stats update that you saw was an incomplete update while the site was pulling stats for team after team/ project after project.

no, I am looking at an inconsistent update now. (I reloaded the respective pages at formula-boinc.org, to no avail.) The front page is showing LAF 559 : TeAm 556. But if I sum up all marathon points and sprint points that are currently showing behind the team links, I arrive at LAF 555 : TeAm 556.

And so we got our first rank back at the MM marathon of the 2018 Formula Boinc season.
What's more, we are now 10th team at MindModeling by all-time credit.

Admin Brandon corrected credits of the teams who are known to be affected by their October glitch, and will look at the rest of the teams next week (forum link). I believe we were hit the most by this glitch. Edit: Correction; we received 5.5 M due to this adjustment, Gridcoin received 6.6 M, other teams 1.3 M or less (source).

(Just recently I was thinking: If this correction was made next year, we would have gotten a big head start in FB season 2019's MM marathon. :-D )
