Really, if they lied about their roles or position in a public forum that is called libel and slander. Both of which will result in a judgement against the company.

Oh and does Rupert Murdoch own the entire Fox channel or just Fox News? Alot of FOX'es shows don't go hand in hand with the conservative agenda...I've seen more morally bankrupt, salacious sex and language filled shows on FOX than I see on any other public channel. Don't even get me started on the FX channel which is a FOX subsidiary on cable.

hah, yes, that is a tremendous hypocrisy, but for me, as long as i know what a program contains, they can broadcast whatever. i was pissed off about the janet jackson incident because it was an ambush, i was watching with my little cousin who was like 8 or 9 at the time, and didn't expect to have to stop him from watching a breast. now granted no real damage was caused IMO, i shouldn't have to feel embarassed, and what they did was wrong and deserved punishment. i wish janet and justin were punished instead of viacom because they were the perpetrators in that ambush!

Lets get this straight, theres some difference between me walking down a street naked (which i btw have, but don't ask) and someone showing a tit at a footballgame. But there's a huge difference between showing a tit, that's just showing it (ugly tit btw), and doing something with it. I simply do not understand why your children are sensitive to material like that! I mean, i'm pretty sure her mom has those, and the kids have even sucked on them.
Whether it would be okay on childrens tv is a different story. Because even i would feel there would have to be some moral border. But what would be the reason for showing tits in a childrens show? This was a performance, and she felt it made a statement i guess. Or she wanted the attention.
I would understand you if it was someone having sex or someone fumbling a tit. But a tit in itself is not sexual. Even if they had sex i don't understand why you would keep it from your kids.

obviously our values are different. sex is an act between adults therefore young children don't need to know abotu it til they get older. the fact that you are questioning even if it's okay for tits to be shown on a children's show is ludicrous.

when the kids sucked on the tits, they were babies, and didn't suck on other peoples tits, and it is a process for the child to receive nourishment, not for entertainment.

and as far as janet feeling this was a platform for her to make a statement, that's bullshit and totally unprofessional. she was hired by viacom to give a performance, not make a statement, and for that she should have contract revoked. if she wanted to make a statement, whatever statement it might be, she should have done it on our own forum. and if she really wanted to make a statement, she wouldn't have backed down from doin what she did. the bitch did it because shes getting old and wanted people talking about her

What I find funny is that Fox counts Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity as "news" when it calculates ratings. Just remember that when they claim they're the most-watched "news" station in the U.S.
