FPS recording software.

I posted this on the video forum but wanted to try here to.

Does anyone know of a program that will run in the background adn 'record' or log your fps on a per minute/5minute/whatever, basis?

hrmm.... not that i know of, but if their is, let me know. that would be a great benchmarking utility.

I entered this thread thinking you meant "FPS (game) recording software" as in making videos. FRAPS does that too.
