FragExt is a set of shell extensions for displaying fragmentation details for one or more files, and for defragmenting one or more files, on FAT, FAT32 and NTFS volumes.

The set includes column handlers for displaying the number of file fragments, the number of extents and the number of clusters in use by a file, a property page extension for displaying detailed fragmentation statistics for a file or set of files, a context-menu handler for defragmenting files directly from within Windows Explorer and an info-tip handler for displaying fragmentation details in file property tooltips from within Windows Explorer.
