Anybody ever used this brand? Reputable wax (Meguiars, etc,) costs about 10-15 per bottle. Just wondering....

It is free, and free=good!

Jdog mentioned Meguiers....you can get a "pack" of Meguiers products...5 or 6 diff items (I think) with app pad for $ 14.99 + tax at Costco...

I use Megiuar's Professional Series on my car and the cars at my house. Don't buy the swirl remover, it doesn't work well, the polish at level 7 is awesome. Don't forget the cleaner wax level 6 all in one polish afterwards.


There is only one brand that is really better than Meguair's. Its called Zainol or something, it has to be ordered from the company directly.

Pothead mentioned another wax (Zainol). It's actually called Zymol, and it's ALL NATURAL. Not some fake substance. I use it on both of my cars and it works great! It smells great too! Kinda a coconut, hotel shampoo/soap smell. Its not that expensive either. I got mine at Costco for only $15 for 2 bottles. Not bah, eh?

I believe car dealerships don't use wax on cars (at least the new car ones don't) they use non-??something water (filtered and something else from a large machine on wheels) that goes on without leaving spots on them. I have seen them do it too, in the middle of the day that's why I was curious because you don't spray cars with water in the middle of the day in Southern California (middle of summer too!).

Can you imagine the man power you need to detail and keep neat all those cars on the lot (takes me 3 hours on my one mustang)? Plus waxed cars get dusty real fast.
