FREE Coke @ Target

i just realized the irony of it all as i walked to the kitchen to grab a coke out of the fridge (we have free soda at work) only to pick up the printed coupon on the way back...

oh well, free is still free, even when it was free before.

i had that coupon when it was still on the target.com site...

If you notice the time on those three posts, they were all sent within 9 minutes of each other, so they probably hadn't refreshed the page to notice someone else had already said the same thing.

Made me laugh though, Free Coke, Free candy bar (even though it was expired ). I'm so glad there are so many scammers and cheapasses in the world such as myself.

I've used this coupon too many times to count. Used it all around No. Cal and Reno. No problems.

Also, good for bribes to get co-workers to drive at lunch.

Just used two in Houston, Texas. The cashiers had trouble scanning the coupon but it was entered manually.

2 regular Target stores in my town, used a coupon at each this morning. At the first, the chashier scanned and it now comes up as 70 cents off, I paid the 29 cents as my car radiator was getting low again, and went to the other store and other than getting a older cashier who recognized me, and said in her best you're f****ing with my retirement voice said "where are you getting all of these coupons?", it still scanned as free. Teaches me right to head for one of the blue hair cashiers instead of waiting in line for a chickie-poo. = (More piercings and neon hair colors the better).

demogorgo, once the cashier scan the coupon she'll need to enter the coupon amount. I've found it doesn't automatically take it off. Give them the coke & coupon together. If they hit total before taking off the coupon you'll get charged tax instead of just paying the deposit.

I've given the employees more coupons than I've used. It keeps them happy and they won't bother you about the "1 per customer limit"

I went and used the coupon at my local Target, they charged me for the deposit. I asked "Why are you charging me? It says Free, doesn't say anything about a deposit." They replied, "Well when you recycle it you get your 5 cents back.", just to piss them off I said "I don't plan on recycling this can." They looked at me weird and proceeded to check me out. Anyway, great deal. I plan on using it OVER and OVER until the end of the coupon date. When it doesn't register in their system anymore, I plan on fighting it. Every single time.

I hate to break it to you, but even when you win with those "free" caps from coke or pepsi, you still have to pay the bottle deposit.

I have used the coupon twice so far at the same Target without any problem. I've used on both regular and vanilla cokes. The only thing they charged me is the 2 cents deposit. I'm not complaining paying $0.02 for a 20-oz bottle of coke.

I was out of town the other day, and printed some off, since we don't have a target where i live, and i took it there, i gave one each to my family (4 of us total), and we all got free cokes. (well, had to pay 2 cents..) and the guy at teh checkout was a n00b, and he was all shaking, since he didn't know what to do with the coupon...hahah

Went with a friend to Target yesterday...we each used a coupon and got a free coke (yay no tax, or deposit in TN). I know i'll be visiting more Targets as i'm around town 8 hours a day

YMMV i went to target and used 3 of the coupons successfully by myself, but i did buy other stuff too, so i didn't just walk out of there with 3 cokes. Also, for those who don't have a target near them, i've used the coupon at Albertsons, (also multiple coupons) since they take competiter coupons. but then again, YMMV

Update: I went back to the store that charged me 29 cents last time and it was free this time. Last time was a error I guess. I'm drinking more Diet Coke than a lab rat, and wonder if the rats got these headaches and hear the voices. (Must get free stuff... must get free... must....)
Edit: i've used the coupon at Albertsons, Hmm.. good one, will try some other stores than take competitors coupons, our Albertsons left town.
