Where was the outcry from muslims when the towers fell? Oh yeah, they where dancing in the streets. I have never once seen a story in print or on the news about a muslim denoucing terror or pleading for the terrorists stop. Terrorism usually achieves the opposite of what you want. The violence just makes people more resolved to resist.
How many bombings have there been around the world while the muslim world sits silent. Where are the tears shed for the innocent on both sides.

I need a copy. We usually use newspapers to start our fireplace with so this will be a nice change of pace.

While everything you said is quite true. It's also very true that there where muslims dancing in the streets after 9/11. They had video of it all over the news and internet. Very sad. I don't rejoice when an iraqi or anyone else dies because of a stray bomb or bullet from an american gun. It's sad either way.
Can you point to a story about how much muslims detest the violence??

Why should the Muslim faith as a whole apologize for the actions of one small group of extremists? That's like saying that all Christians should have to apologize for the few that kill abortion doctors.

The Qur'an states:
5:14... Christians... we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment.
5:64. The Jews... Amongst them we have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment.
9:30. The Jews... and the Christians... Allah's curse be on them...!
48:28... to proclaim it [Islam] over all religion...
9:73... strive hard against the unbelievers... Their abode is Hell...
2:191. And slay them wherever ye catch them...
----
These passages obviously declare war which can only be ended by the total destruction of all other religions by Islam. Clearly millions of Moslems see them this way.
A non-Islamic, how am I to feel safe in the face of these passages from the Qur'an? How are these expressions of peace?

tsk tsk... man, that's fvcked up!
Read it a little more in context. The verse right before it reads: "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors." Basically what that section is saying is, if other nations declare war on you, defend your land in order to preserve your people and religion. In fact, it specifically says to limit yourself only to killing those that must necessarily die in war; don't transgress the normal limits of war. Unfortunately, a verse like this is very easy to misinterpret, especially out of context. No doubt many extremist Muslim leaders are using this verse out of context in order to spur young men to join their cause. However, when you read it carefully, you realize that all it's basically saying is that, in war, killing is often necessary. Just don't go around starting wars yourself.Originally posted by: bf1942

look at the pictures of the people around the world who mourned 9/11, instead of just being a monkey where you see an image, and keep jumping around screeching and flinging feces in the form of your ignorant attacks!

Oh yeah, the "simpathy" of iran and others after 9/11 didn't last too long. They went right back to chanting Death to America
