Negative. I've been getting it free for several years.

Magazines make a good chunk of money from advertisements. The bigger the reader base, the more they can charge per ad. Plus they probably give your info to 3rd parties

They don't have your CC#, so they can't "force" you to subscribe.

Ha, I actually did have a free 1 year subscription to Sound and Vision. If you ACTUALLY recieve 10 Percent of all the magazines you sign up for you will be doing GREAT! Its been my experience that hardly any of them actually come.
