Anyone knows when final coming out? I know XP will have it inside..
Also, anyone know if tabs feature is in yet?
I hope MS will implement it, I dont wanna open 10 windows to browse 10 web site, I would much rather just switch tabs.

Downloaded and installed it a couple days ago. I have had no problems and it seems a little faster than 5.5. I am running Win2K with SP1. I like it !

Does it support any new HTML or CSS crap?
I could care less about tabs or toolbars, just as long as they make some nice improvements to the DOM or other stuff.

Also, can it render text sideways?? I remember one of the new browsers was supposed to be able to do this (maybe it was NN 6 or even IE 5.5, I don't remember).

I tried using IE 5.5 Beta when it came out last year and it was horrible. Buggy, crashed a lot, couldn't uninstall the damn thing. Never, EVER, install a microsoft beta product!!! It will cost you!!

Just installed it and so far there are know problems.

I have tried many beta editions of IE. I don't recommend them. First off, they are more prone to crashes. Second, it might not be possible to uninstall the program.

I happy. thoroughly unimpressed by the update so far, but I haven't beat on it enough yet, I guess.

simMike2,you are right.I have tried to uninstall it the way microsoft says to do it and it always fails.I wish someone could figure out how to beat this spyware.Yes it also has a privacy setting that does not work.Will not block cookies.Be afraid of IE6 beta.Be very afraid.But it is faster on my system.Go figure.
