I sent in my roll from NY to Washington and the pictures received an email when the pictures were received. The next day, I got a link to look at the pictures. I think it took about 3-4 days from the time I put the roll in the mail until the time they were available on the web. I have not received the printed pics in the mail yet, but should this week.

The pictures look of pretty poor quality on the web. I don't think it's the resolution or the developing. I think maybe the camera doesn't take such good pictures. I'll hold out for final judgement until I receive the printed pictures. I haven't used single use cameras much, so maybe it's what would be expected from them.

I got my Photoworks prints and they are great. The scans on the Web looked real bad, but the prints turned out just fine.

PLUS, Photoworks sent TWO FREE 24 exposure rolls of film with the prints. Making this a real HOT DEAL.

Note: I did not send them back their disposable camera, but used the mailer to send in a roll of film instead. That is probably why they sent the film.

For some real HOT DEALs check out pawn shops for the old 70s screw mount 35mm cameras and lenses. Nobody wants them and you can pick up some great equipment dirt cheap. With the free film processing, you can not beat it, almost free photography. I got a Pentax Spotmatic, 50mm 1.4, 135mm, and 400mm lens all for $40. The TTL lightmeter probably won't work, so buy a handheld meter, or just take snapshots at one setting. Still 100% better than most cheap cameras today and some of the new digital too.

I also tried Ofoto.com. The scans look equally as bad on the Web but suspect the prints are probably okay. However, it takes them about two weeks to get them back to you. Photoworks had the scans up in two days.
