Well, if by chance you happen to be in Amsterdam (Netherlands), I just moved here from Los Angeles, I just picked up a Typhoon TV/FM tuner card (
www.typhoonline.com) for 10 Euro's (with Vat=Tax), that's like $9, at Media Markt (like European version of Best Buy), seems to work OK with Me even though the box says Win98. Couldn't get it to work with XP though, but didn't really try after it froze. They have updated Me/XP drivers on their website, but I can't figure out which ones to use as both cards I purchased have a 9 digit serial number and their drivers say either for a 8 digit version or a 10/11 digit version. Anyway that seems like a hell of a good deal for a PAL TV tuner as my A-I-W Radeon is NTSC and I can't seem to get it to work here.
About this DScaler though, I tried to load it, but it says in the readme that I need Visual Installer or something, tried downloading it from MS and I get a message that I need Visual Basic or C++ installed first. Does this really mean I need to go out and buy this software to install Visual Installer, so that I can install DScaler?
