I use these boxes all the time to ship stuff via USPS Priority Mail. Please don't ruin it for the rest of us and abuse the boxes for other purposes.

Thanks..

Go to ups.com & there's a page where you can request plain, brown, unstamped boxes. I think there are only 2 sizes available. The smaller one can fit several dvds or cassettes, while the larger one, is a little bigger than the standard rectangle priority boxes. They come in big boxes of 50, & are absolutely free.

For those of you inquiring, the 2 free packs of boxes, are not available online. You will have to call or email customer service to request them. There is supposedly also labels available, but I never received them. I believe this was all posted in a deal sometime in october/november of 2002, because I really can't remember where else I would of heard of it. Ask for the UPS Small & Medium Security Box, Case Count 50.You might need the items numbers, because the cs rep might have no idea what your talking about. Those were posted as well.

For those of you not sure where to find all or most of the free stuff at usps.com, simply raise or lower the last number in the address bar(ex. 68-69-70 or 66-65-64). If you get sent back to the home page, just skip that number & keep going. Well over 40 items available foc.

This has been around for years and years. I always think it is funny, when someone new comes along and finds it and thinks they struck gold.

If you go to the online store and go to the small business section, there are many more sizes to choose from.

It's new to me, therefor it's gold.

Thanks for the tip, I'm just getting into selling on Ebay. These will come in handy.

If we can't post coupons, how come this thread is allowed? It's an abuse, and only losers would be interested.

Only losers would be interested? When I can only get to the Post Office on a Saturday, having the boxes shipped to my door and to have a full supply of them, will do me a great deal of good. I think it's great.

UPS charges for the plain boxes, the marked ones are free, very similar to the USPS free ones.

can I just go into the Post Office and asking for Priority Mail tape?

Don't want to fill out my info on their site cause I may end up on THE "mailing list"...

Sounds like "reverse engineering" to me.... lol

OMG - One guy was arrested the other day for this - not kidding. The clerk was like hold on... so like always... everyone in line is pissed off because the line goes out the door... Then a cop walks in and asks the dude a bunch of questions and they take him to the back. He flipped about half a dozen usps priority/express boxes... It's really easy to tell which boxes are usps ....

That's pretty crazy. Good thing I haven't done that in a while... I guess the USPS is starting to crack down on the box usage.
