Front panel wires; Which is positive?

I'm assembling a new system and can't figure out how to connect the HDD, RES and Power LED wires to the mother board because I don't know which wire is positive and which is negative because my case has a one page manual and mentions nothing about the bundle of wires coming from the front panel.
My HDD has on red and one black so I'm assuming the red is positive?
My Power LED has one green and one black - Which is positive?
My Soft Power has one green and one white - Which is positive?
My Reset SW has one white and one black - Which is positive

The switches don't matter.

For the LED's, usually the non-black one is positive. If it doesn't work one way, reverse it. Nothing will be hurt if you get it backwards.

Positive wires are usually red or green. And negative wires are usually black or white.

bozo1 is correct in that wire colors to switches do not matter; switches do not have positive or negative polarities.

Cases do not have a standardized Front Panel connection scheme(they differ from case-case). Just try the connectors 1 way, if that doesn't work, try them the other way, no damagae will result by attaching them backwards.

I usually point the text on the headers towards the PCI slot direction. But my case lights go the other way on my 8KHA+ when I had them in my Evercase 4252.
