fullscreen problems with 960x720 res (win2k)

greetings all!

for some reason, i cant play games fullscreen at 960x720 in windows 2000 (couldnt on XP either). im not sure if its a hardware or detonator thing. could anyone help me fix this? i prefer to play wolfy at 9x7! thanks! be blessed -dave

this is not very helpful, but i have never seen/heard of 960x720. (if it helps any, i cant do that setting on this gf4)

960x720 is not a resolution that is normally put into the Detonator drivers.

It is however a very useful screen mode (especially for people with less powerful PC's).

Under win9x I used to use Hertztool to enable the mode, but that does not work for NT based OS'es. Does anyone know of a utility (other than powerstrip) that can create custom screen mode for NT os'es?

As mentioned before 960 x 720 is not a standard resolution and few video card drivers support it straight out of the box, if any at all.

However PowerStrip can make custom refresh rates on any version of Windows.
