Fun Windows errors

ok i havent ever had a BSOD unless im overclocking so this is wierd for me, but it all started after i installed the F.E.A.R. demo, i BSOD'ed durring the demo and seeing as i didnt enjoy the game i uninstalled, after that i get random BSOD's,even when idle @ desktop (they are more frequent durring gaming though). IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL if you want the refrence numbers il grab them next BSOD, but i know its not a heat problem, i took off all my oc's and run @ good temps but i still BSOD @ idle. and seeing as i never had a problem b4 F.E.A.R. i think it may be somthing associated w/ that game. Maybe directX9.0c, i dont know what else it could have installed other than the demo it self(which i uninstalled). any other idea's would be nice.

pretty sure its a driver error, the code changed "DRIVER_IRQL_..." and "0x000000d1" but thanks if it isnt ill try that

Driver errors can be caused by faulty memory too.

Did you install Windows while overclocked? I do hope not....

ah the error is due to "nvapu" any one know if thats Mobo drivers or Video?

Well if it happens when you install a new game, and then keeps happening after you uninstall it, then common sense leads to the suspicion that the game farked things up. You didn't have it install an old version of DirectX or something, did you?

Try an uninstaller program and also a registry cleaner to clean all the tracks put in by the game. If not, try a Repair Installation of your OS.

found out it was a coincidince(sp) my RAM failed right after i installed the game... now its back to my old value RAM.
