See, well i do agree with you that a 4800+ would be a far better buy than the FX-55, i wish people wouldn't make these wild OC speculations.
Before Venice actually hit the stores, we saw a few cherry-picked CPUs in reviews hitting 2.8 with stock voltage, & suddenly, everyone was claiming, wait for Venice; they will hit 3.0 GHz or whatever.
Do you really honestly believe the 4800+ is going to hit 3.0 GHz with normal cooling?
Cause i really don't.
I'm guessing we'll getting 2.9 if we're extremely lucky, but more likely 2.6-2.8 maybe.
I'm betting average will be even less.
I guess this little rant is simple. Pls. don't make these speculations that always turn out to be wrong.
