Hey all, I hate to post another thread on this issue, as it seems like this is EXTREMELY prevalent among these motherboards, but I have a situation that seems different from any others that I have read - everyone else seems to experience this issue upon first building the computer, or within a few weeks of build. My issue didn't come into play for 8-9 months.....

So basically, one morning, out of nowhere, I woke up to my computer constantly rebooting itself over and over again. It begins booting up, at which point the following happens:

- Video Card fan spins full speed (then backs off)
- CPU fan spins for a brief second, then stops
- All the phase LEDs on the mobo light up and stay lit - the CPU phase led shows two red lights as well and they also remain lit.

I honestly can't remember if they lit up before, but I don't think they did.

From there, over the next couple seconds, it continues to boot like normal, with typical "noises" - then we hear the short beep sound identifying a "successful" boot - then the CPU fan starts up again - then the splash screen for the mobo for about 2 seconds - then it shuts down, and within a few seconds turns itself back on, and repeats forever.....

At no point over the past 8-9 months did I have any problem with my machine, and I hadn't even overclocked anything. This started completely out of nowhere. And just to be clear I am not able to get into the bios....

Here are my specs:

Intel i7-930
GA-X58A-UD3R
A-Data 6GB DDR3 PC12800
OCZ SSD
Corsair TX-650
Coolermaster RM-690 ii
ATI 5830

Here is what I have done so far:

- Tried a brand new Thermaltake 850w PSU.
- Tried every combination of RAM/slots (including only one stick in all 3 slots).
- Removed all power and connections to everything but 24pin mobo, 8 pin cpu, and 6 pin PCI-E with two different PSUs
- Removed video card (obviously doesn't post, but weird mobo lights are still on)
- Removed CMOS Battery overnight (which apparently helped 2 different people)
- Cleared CMOS like 7 different times
- Plugged PSU power straight into wall (rather than through surge protector/battery backup)
- Holding down ctrl-home to flash bios (doesn't even get that far)
- Switched PW Switch and RESET switch
- Checked all capacitors
- Tried different power cables

This would be more understandable if my computer hadn't been working perfectly fine for 8-9 months before having this issue. I also had no power surges, or anything like that either.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys!
