Quake 2 should run decent and IMO is a better game than Q3. I'll always have fond memories of the many late nights I spent playing Q2 when i should have been studying .

Rainbow Six should run decently too.

Second for Civilization, and ZSNES, but remember that you can only keep a ROM for 24 hours unless you own the original.

Then I stand corrected. I had a Voodoo 3 on a K6-2 380 system and Q3 ran like crap.
When he said the card was seen as a TNT, I assumed it was probably equivalent to a TNT.
And we had a 400Mhz system with a TNT2 in it that ran Q2 beautifully but choked on Q3 so I was guessing.

Q2 is a better game anyway though.

Quake III will run fine on it. The first rig I ever built was quite close to those specs, and played Q3 test fine back in the summer of 99. Sure, you can't max it all, but it will run smooth.

Although it has issues with XP, Carmageddon 2 is like the best game I've ever played EVAR and should run well on that rig.

And, the usual, Warcraft 1 & 2, Starcraft, Fallout 1 & 2, Red Baron 2, Destruction Derby 1 & 2, Spearhead, SWAT 2, (In fact, the whole Police Quest series).

If I think of more classics, I'll post 'em.

Aw man, next time I reinstall windows, I am DEFINITELY going for a dual-boot xp/98.

I tried both Destruction Derby 1 & 2 and I couldn't get either to work in XP. I know Carmageggon 2 is impossible in XP too. What a pisser.

I wish we could get the powers that be to rewrite Carmageddon 2 to work in XP, it's like seriously, the best game of all time.

MDK2 should run ok . . . mine did on a celeron @450 with the Rage Fury (32MB SDR) . . .

. . . surprised no one mentioned (the original) Half-Life and Unreal . . . should run fine depending on resolution and detail . . .
