GAMES FREEZING

Every game i own crashes to the desktop. I call med copmuter company and reported this. They checked my hard drive and i recieved a new one because of a corrupt sector. However, this didnt solve anything. No games run stable, most crash in 10 minutes but some(Half life, Star Craft) will run for an hour or so and then crash. HL will throw up a BSOD several times, freeze, then reboot the computer. Other times it will just say it has a DLL error. Ive replaced all the drivers and games, contacted companies concerned, nothing helps.

If you've checked video drivers then maybe those aren't the culprit... what version of the nVidia drivers are you using though? I hear some of the more recent leaks are unstable, though I haven't checked myself.

Maybe you should reinstall DirectX?

Then again, if the games run okay for at least a few minutes then go bonkers, maybe it's a heat issue? I'm no pro, but I'd definately make sure you've got working fans inside your computer.
