Gaming on a widescreen LCD?

Hey Guys,

I am think of buying the ACER 19 widescreen moniter with a resoloution of 1440 x 900. Do games support this resolution? And will a 6800GS run this well (even with no AA/AF?)

A 6800GS should run that resolution fairly well. A lot of games actually don't support, or fully support, widescreen gaming. There was a website that many users here could direct you to. I can't remember the name of it, but it helped you hack widescreen resolutions into many popular games. Hopefully the next poster will be of a bit more help than myself.
