Gaming/Portable Laptop for College Help?

Hey everyone, I've been doing a lot of research and am in need of a gaming laptop that is also mobile for college. I need to be able to stream/play sc2 on it, while also being able to take it to class and take notes if needed. I don't want to be hauling around a 50 pound device. I've been doing a lot of research and found some good laptops, and I'd like to get the community's advice as well

My budget is around $2k, so I have a wide range of laptops to choose from.

15.6" seems to be the best monitor size, I had a macbook pro that was 15" for the past 4 years of high school, but I want to stay clear of macs.

The "F Series" by MSI seems like a good line of laptops, although I'm not sure how well the 1 gb ddr3 nvidia graphics card will work for sc2 & streaming?

I was also thinking of customizing a clevo laptop on avadirect as well, but time is running short and I'll need my laptop in about a month from now:

If portability is a concern, I'd say 15.6" is pushing it. I'd suggest a 14" chassis w/ a 1600x900 display and a dGPU, and there's a few options available.

Optimally, I'd wait until Llano is released and the back-to-school sales kick off in earnest but since you've mentioned that you'd need it about a month form now, I'd go with either the Sony Vaio, Alienware(Dell) M14x or the Lenovo T420.

If you're still thinking 15'6" is the way to go, the Asus gets my nod, but it wouldn't hurt to contact Clevo and Sager to get an estimate of how long it'll take for you to get one customized; have you also considered the Dell XPS 15z or the regular XPS 15 as well? I have the XPS 15 and I'm very happy with it.

hmm I hadn't thought about 14" laptops before, but those seem good too I should do some research on those. I'm not the biggest fan of those lenovo laptop's style, I like the more slick and clean stuff like the F series msi or macbook pros
