1996 Toyota Camry due for a tune-up so I don't get the most mileage I could but I haven't driven since Thursday.

The same way I afford to cool and heat my house, I deal with it.

Not a chance.

2003 Ford Econoline

5.4L V8...supposed to get 13/17...but I dont think it does.

Doesnt really matter, though...I'm stuck with this for probably ten years.

I got 32 mpg on my last fillup of my '96 Escort.

I've been thinking about getting rid of my Trailbazer and getting a car for a while now.

I sold my 1997 pathfinder se to get this truck. I just cant see paying more in gas than the payments or insurance. My uncle uses 120$ a week in his 2004 F250 :Q

I have a Toyota Echo.

This summer, during a trip to Niagara and back, I got 700 km with a single tank of gas, which translates roughly to 43 MPG in U.S. measurements... normally, driving in city traffic, I get 31 MPG... and I still think I use a lot of gas, compared to European cars...

My Passat pulls around 22mpg in town and 28-30 on the highway depending on the speed. Good enough for me.

The Highlander is worse...around 18 in town, and about 22 on the highway (still has to break in a bit). But the comfort, space, safety, and convenience of it isn't easily replaced by a more efficient vehicle.

Oil just jumped $4 per barrel to over $70. Huricane responsible, so they say!

Bought a Durango in January. Luckily I kept the Stealth so I've been driving that recently. We also still have the Civic. Plus I only drive my cars to work which is 1.5 miles away so 3 miles a day is in no way killing me.

You drive even though it's only 1.5 mi away? How fat are you?

I've got a 50 mile round trip for work, my wife has a about half that. She takes the Highlander, I take the Passat. At this point, the added plates, insurance, driveway space, ect just isn't worth having a third, more efficient vehicle.

The $40 I'd save a month in gas just doesn't add up.

1989 Plymouth Voyager SE Turbo.
Comfortable (except when you parked it in the sun and the seat melts your testicles, or in the winter when they turn into spermcubes)
MASSIVE amounts of space compared to any car and most SUVs
Safe-ish. Okay, maybe not. No airbags, no ABS, etc.
Convenient (Everything's right there)
Fun (Quick, good engine/exhaust sound, good sound system)
Efficient enough (25mpg)
