Saw the article on MSN a couple hours ago, looks like the Dish Satellite Network is going to offer Gay TV to all subscribers. Here's a quote from the article:

Why do they feel the need to put gay in every single show title? To let us know that this isn't a normal TV show?

Trust me, one viewing of these shows and we are going to be able to tell we aren't in Kansas anymore.

Oh well, glad I cancelled my Dish Satellite Network subscription long ago -- I'm not paying for that crap.

Anyone else notice you don't ever see a WhiteTV channels. I suppose that could have been TNN (The Nashville Network), but they are now The National Network. Kinda funny if you ask me.

Hey, it's a free market, if that's what the Dish Network folks think will increase their sales, then by all means.... I know that if I was a subscriber though, I would call and cancel as soon as possible. I don't need to be flipping through the channels and accidentally come across some butt-pirate groping another butt-pirate

My opinion about this is that it's going to corrupt people's mind and make being gay more acceptable in this country. Having a channel like this is absurd, but on 2nd thought I do believe in free speech. So yeah, that's my opinion...I didn't wanna offend anyone though.

If they did that, there would be no need to have a satellite dish, because there'd only be one channel on everyone's TV, because you could fit all the stuff people actually want to watch into one channel's timeslots!

Well I hope that the Gay TV station offers them more than Lifetime for Women offers me. I don't want to see another made for tv movie of the week about some women getting beaten, and finally taking her revenge. If you are going to make a channel for me, have shows like Men in G-Strings, or How To Blackmail Your Kids Into Doing The Dishes. You know, quality entertainment.

Yzzim -- Gay TV wouldn't be my idea of great entertainment. You don't have to watch it, either. If they have a market, it will pay off for them. If not, it will die, just like a zillion other bad ideas.

You don't seem too corrupted by it, so I'd say you really don't have much to worry about.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Whoever said that it shouldn't be there so they don't have to flip past it... gimme a break. Any dish receiver has the ability to delete channels you don't want. Problem solved.

It's called free speech people, and it happens to be a principle on which this country was founded.

That said, maybe they'll move that annoying interior designer guy to the GayTV channel. Gee, could the guy be any more blatantly effeminate?

We'll have stars from those shows as our guests, and we'll make fun of them and beat them up and stuff. You have no idea how horrible the color scheme of my home was before I redecorated... I always joke that if it had been gay men living here, the house would have been perfect already.

I'm all for like goin out and doing homeimprovment, but I've seen too many guys that do sturdy home improvement but it looks like sh!t, heck a decently arranged room with colors that work is ok by me. . .. i know no girl who is worth impressing that doesn't like an impressivly decorated room.
