I guess it's that glorious time of the year again when people climb out of bed at 4 am to find that bargain that you'd probably find anyways if you went shopping the following week, but alas...where are the good deals for Black Friday at this year?

If you check fatwallet or gotadeal reguarly, you can find good non-Black Friday deals where you don't have to fight through 3,456,986,567,342 people to get them.

I went to the Fry's this weekend and one of the sales rep said that they are closed on Thursday - BUT - that I should come wed. night around 8:30pm to scope stuff out. He said they will be setting everything up on wednesday night starting at 8pm - even though they close at 9pm.

in the past few years, they will have an ad tomorrow (Thu), but they will also have their regular Friday ad (8 pages or so) with some pretty sweet deals in it as well...

r u kidding? I have already seen some stores that are opening at 5 am (Fry's (in Dallas) for sure, can't remember the others of the top of my head)...

last year most stores opened between 6 and 8 am...I am guessing here in Dallas, you probably need to get in line by 10 pm if you want to guarantee that that you will be at the front of the line at the good stores (to get the laptops, pc's, etc)...seriously, anything after 11 and you will be taking your chances...
