yeah i just got mine in a few hours ago. no mobo but i was figuring 2 asus 6600gt cards was going to run about 450.00 give or take and the bfg was 399.99. plus bfg rocks! im surprised they got their 6800gts out before their 6600gts oh well. i got one so im happy

Come on, give me a break. I'm just not willing to spend $300 for an nForce4 motherboard. I plan to buy a board as soon as they are reasonably priced.

Just ordered 2. they are on order now though. no longer in stock, but at this price and free overnight shipping can't be beat. esp considering the cheapest i could find agp is 369 without free shipping, and the pci-e will probally always be at least $10 more expensive due to the bridge chip, its a good deal.

I received my (2) PCI-E BFG 6800OC ordered form Chumbo!!!! (plain white box packaging - LOL)

My ASUS A8n-SLI MB order status from ZZF shows "packed" so hopefully it will be here by Friday!

Hell that would have been a good deal for a 6800GT AGP version, 399 with free overnight... awesome.

So taken with that, and the fact that BFG is definitely a GOOD manufacturer for these parts, I'd say it was a great deal, and you are most likely sour you didn't get one in time

On a side note, the a8n-SLI seems to be coming in to stores and prices are beginning to drop, hopefully by the end of the week i can get the 3500+ 90nm a8n-sli combo from monarch for less than $550

Edit: forgot to mention they do have a single fan, the heatsink looks very good.

Anyone elses order "stuck"? It was supposed to arrive 20 minutes ago but the last tracking entry was at 11:43PM last night in Minneapolis. Maybe it's the snow storm in the midwest? (No snow at my location though)

Yup mine is stuck too in Minneapolis at 11:36pm EST last nite. Scheduled delivery was today by 3:00pm EST, and now its 3:45pm EST. Damnit! Overnite shipping my ass. Might be the snowstorm, but dont they fly the shipments?

o well i guess one more day of waiting.

Fedex came by the neighborhood and left with no package... I called up Fedex, and they said it is most likely not coming today for me. They really have no idea when it would. (they seemed to be reading off the same screen I was).

I asked if I would be refunded my shipping cost (The video cards were free shipping from Chumbo, but I order a bunch of other stuff from NewEgg and paid the $50 premium for overnight). Fedex said that becuase it was weather related, they will not be refunding any $$$.

There's a bunch of cash down the drain!

Ditto here. I'll be happy as long as I get it tomorrow. I don't see why our packages are being delayed so long because of snow.

It's December in Minneapolis for Christ's sake! I can understand a one day delay but anymore is completely unacceptable. I'm sure they have decent snow removal at whatever airport they are using.

for anybody that "missed" this deal b/c they thought the price was too high. go check monarchcomputer.com. now i like monarch but you got to watch them. they have the bfg 6800gt pci-e listed and ship date is jan. 15 but the price is f####ng 599.99. OUCH!! they did have an awesome deal on a amd64 3200+ winnie for 179.99 but holy crap on the the video card.

This stuck me as funny for some reason. Its the past 6 months, it seems getting a highend card at MSRP for either NV or ATi is a good deal. Sad and funny at the same time. :/
