GeForce 8800GTS and Vista Rating?!?!

Hey just put this video card >> GeForce 8800GTS> (XFX PVT80GTHE9 GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported HDCP Video Card - Retail) > into a new machine, any ideas why in Vista 64 ULT I'm getting a 1.0 rating for graphics?!

Installed the correct drivers? Is Aero on? I don't know what else I can suggest

I installed the latest NVidia drivers for Vista 64... Which drivers are you guys running for your 8800 Cards? Aero is working, ie: I hit Windows-Tab and get the fancy window-switching effects
Coming from a 4 years of ATI cards I feel a little lost?!

Run 3dmark and see if your score is typical. If so, then it's just the Windows Performance module that's borked.

I score a '5.9' with my 320mb 8800GTS in Vista 64 bit. I have the latest drivers and all the patches.

Maybe you need to install your chipset drivers for your motherboard. :light:

Any links to any drivers for Nvidia graphics cards welcome - do you guys run the beta drivers? And I assume I'll hit up ASUS for chipset.

Asus has the chipset drivers.

I have always had bad experiences with the nvidia beta drivers. Just use the latest non-beta ones.

Fixed with loading latest chipset drivers.. cheers to all who posted. 5.9 for anyone who cares
Looks like the hardware has caught up with Vista rating (5.9 being the highest)

Now to run that 3dmark..
