Do any variations of this card come with a single heatsink and without a fan?

I'm having some problems with a card I bought, and I just noticed the card I got doesn't match the picture on the box it came in. The box shows a card with 3 heatsinks, and a fan. Mine has a single heatsink with no fan. I've been looking around the web tonight and have been unable to find a geforce3 ti200 that look like mine. Mine came in a cheesy little cardboard box with a geforce3 sticker on it. I bought it at Fry's and it looked as if it had been repackaged. No drivers or manuals were included. Just wondering if I even have the correct item. I downloaded the latest drivers from nvidia, but I get drawing errors and continous, random freezing of my screen. I was told it might be the NV Loop problem, but it's a brand new box and I was installing the drivers for the first time The card I have does say "NVidia" with the logo, but gives no explicit indication of being a geforce3. I'm a newbie at this and am just wondering if there's a way I can tell, short of running back over to the store and asking about it. Just found it really odd that the product i got didn't match the box pic. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Stay away from the GeForce3-TI200! It's slow as hell compared to a GeForce4-TI4200 or a 128MB retail RADEON 8500 and costs the same.

Have not seen the Ti4200 priced under $100 yet, but have seen many GF3 Ti200's, and with many Ti200's owners
scoring 3dm2k1se marks over 10,000, I would hardly call that slow as hell. In fact, "some" overclocked Ti200's are
scoring higher than overclocked Ti4200's. I would guess though, that based on the numbers at MadOnion, seems
for most users, the RADEON 8500 or the Ti4200 will get you about 10% better scores. Still, that doesn't rate the
Ti200 as a "Stay away from", or "slow as hell card". Get real here. With the 10% performance difference, then add
in 10% price/value, and if you can get a Ti4200 or RADEON 8500 for $110 or less, (compared to $100 or less for Ti200)
then that makes good sense to get the Ti4200 or the RADEON 8500. But with the Ti4200 costing more than $170 at
most places, then GF3 Ti200 is still by far the best way to go.

Not that I've ever seen.

I haven't seen any Geforce 2's without a fan, for that matter. I wonder what the heck it is that you have?

Get Sisoftware sandra 2002 , if you don't already have it dnld at major geeks pick the Author dnld to get 2002 , then go into pci/agp cardbus information , it will tell you what brand and model it is . It should have the NV20 gpu.

k first off i got my Ti 200 for $87 shipped. Its from visiontek and it has heatsinks on the ram itself and a decent fan. The cheapest gf4 ti200 i've seen is $160-$170 shipped. Hmm... that's about double the price for double the performance??? i think not!!!!
