He has a tendency to do that. Thanks to him I don't regret my Instant Pot or my Hackintosh build.
Yeah, I use my IP every other day. Awesome cooking tool.

We should form some play groups for stuff like Battle Dome & QuiVR. It's actually pretty fun talking to people on the Vive, the audio is remarkably clear without having to do any effort on tweaking the input levels or anything.
Haven't tried Battle Dome yet, but QuiVR rocks.
I'm trying to figure out Holopoint. I start the game, i shoot two targets, and rinse and repeat. HTF do I advance forward in this game?
Not that I'm aware of... I know there's FlyInside but I'm pretty sure that's just for FSX and P3D.I haven't read this entire thread, but is there a VR for FS2004? I don't play FSX, although I have it, but my FS2004 is my main sim weighing in at about 55GB.
Wait. So was I supposed to dodge the shrapnel coming from those boxes after I shoot them?Basically, elements in the game change: you start out with one box that explodes. Then the box shoots back at you. Then there are two boxes that shoot back at you. Then the boxes go on a timer & turn pink and auto-explode at you. Then there are boxes behind you. So now you have boxes on the floor & on the second floor all around you on countdown timers to shoot at you. Then the ninjas come
Why don't you play FSX? Just curious about that.I haven't read this entire thread, but is there a VR for FS2004? I don't play FSX, although I have it, but my FS2004 is my main sim weighing in at about 55GB.

LOL. I was about to uninstall this game. I'll try it again after my shoulder heals up. I can barely move it for some odd reason.
Anyone else have fans setup in their VR room? Really adds to the experience and keeps you cool.

I ordered a pair of the VR Lenses today, and goodness... if you're worried about the initial cost of VR, just wait until you start getting all that extra stuff. The lenses (without Blueguard VR) ended up being about $83. I think it will be worth it since it's so uncomfortable for me to wear glasses with the Vive. Honestly, it's one of the reasons why I almost never use the device as it gets painful after a while. Although, that may not affect most people as I seem to have a big head. To give you an idea, my IPD is 173.3, which is only 2 below the max of 175!
I still need to find out my eye details. I don't wear my glasses with the Vive because they are too large to fit.
Are the lenses easy to attach or are they a chore? I share my headset with family & friends who come over so I think it's better to have the stock lenses in there most of the time for maximum compatibility.
Elite is pretty fun in VR. I do recommend Voice Attack with one of the HCS packs to go with it.
anyone get VR blindness after using the HMD for a while?
LOL. when I first started I played for like 3-4 hours straight, when i took the HMD off and blinked, I saw a ghosting like effect from the HMD screen during each blink.
Is there a negative effect on the eyes from using VR?

We have a selection of official celebrity voice response packs to choose from. Most of which are professionally voiced by classic SciFi legends from Red Dwarf, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Flash Gordon, Blake's 7, Star Wars and others.
William Shatner, Tom Baker, Brent Spiner, Paul Darrow, Norman Lovett, Brian Blessed, Silvia McClure, Hatty Hayridge, KSi and more...
The packs are designed for use with or without Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, although it is the BEST all round experience with a virtual reality headset.
All voice packs have 1000 + command responses, some have additional educational information in the form of the "GalaXapediA, Constellations & Quantum Theory" facts.
Other sci-fi genre related stuff from your favourite movies or tv episodes can alsobe found within the packs.
Anyone invest in ceiling mounting their HMD cables?
I'm looking to put my Vive on a leash
One thing that made me do a few double-takes is that my prescription uses the old nomenclature of "OD" and "OS", and the VR Lens site uses right and left respectively. The last thing I want to do is get my prescription mixed up!
I read that it isn't too hard to attach them. I think I read that it was maybe a two minute process? You may also want to consider ordering some non-prescription VR Lenses simply to protect your Vive's built-in lenses. The only thing that might be a pain is that their FAQ says that you shouldn't adjust the IPD with the lenses attached, which means it will take longer to swap between people.
