For the allergy sufferers out there

Claritin d is $20 for 40 pills at costo

but the real deal is the generic kirkland stuff

180 pills for $16

thats a steal imo, because the generic and the name_brand stuff are pretty much the same thing
they have the same active ingredient and the same amount of it

they are both 24hr pills

the only diff is the price

if this indeed does work like claratin this is a smoking hot deal! 50 cents a pill is a damn good deal. do you use this product yourself and recommend it?

I just started using the Costco brand of claratin. I can't tell a difference between the name brand and this stuff. That is to say, it works great and the price makes it even better. I asked my doctor and the pharmacist about it because it was such a difference in price, but both said get the generic because it is the same thing (active ingredient is 10mg of loratadine for both).

50 cents a pill is a damn good deal

The Costco brand is only 9 cents a pill

I've been using generic Claratin for awhile now, and agree that there is no noticiable difference in the effectiveness of it. I've been using the generic CVS sells, but I'd assume it's probably the exact same stuff as Costco's.

Great deal on it.

Every store (Costco, Target, Walmart, Walgreen's, Rite-Aid, CVS, etc.) is carrying generic Claritin (Loratadine) now. You can find some good deals. Costco is nice though because you get a bunch of it and you don't have to wait for a sale or coupon.

Are you sure the Kirkland one has the Decongestant in it ?

I know the one without it are pretty cheap, but the -D ones are more money.

If anyone is going to Costco, can they pick me up an extra bottle and mail it out for me ?
I don't have a membership to Costco.

Shoppers that are not Costco Wholesale members will be charged a 5% surcharge over the member's posted product prices. If you wish to shop from our Business Center site, you must be a Costco member.

Hope that helps.

good lord, the shipping is like 8 bucks.

Stand outside your local Costco and shoulder tap.

"Hey man how much can you get me for $20?"

The pharma companies get sole use of a formula for a certain period of time (like 10 or 15 years), after that time ANYONE can make the drug. So the generic drugs are exactly the same as the name brand drugs, except for some processing techniques and non-active ingredients.

I always buy generic stuff, you save a ton of money.
