Generic router for Dad

I bought this generic router for my Dad: M71-APO07-140 which can be found at several on-line vendors. It came with no instructions and he's having a hard time configuring it. Anyone know of its origin or a good place to read about hooking it up with DSL?

I dont know who you bought this thing from but all the vendors that I have found says it comes with a CD and a manual. Call the dealer

Go Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig

Find the Gateway address and try to access that address via your browser (i.e. http://192.168.2.1) as many routers have web based control panels.

If that doesn't work, you can try to telnet into the gateway address.

as for default username and password for the router, admin/admin are the most used combination i've seen.
