Feely is fine. Even one of the top kickers in the league can have a bad day. Feel bad for him, but not that bad

I still think SB or even NFC Champs is premature talk for the Hawks. ALL Hawk fans, although they will admit something is "different" this year, know exactly what I'm talking about.

Ya this is why i think field goals are pointless. They should not count as game winners in overtime. Awesome job by the entire giants team defensively. After every giant drive in the last 2 mins to overtime, i kept thinking "ive seen too much good giant offense today, something is bound to go wrong" Shockey,buress,manning,barber...just kept making plays. As the defense kept making great plays on the run game. Yet the giants wind up loosing.

He's been fading in recent weeks. And watch his kickoffs, too. They are shorter and shorter as the season progresses. I wonder if he has an injury?
And Coughlin, who I always say is not a winning coach, did it again by playing for the field goal in overtime instead of driving hard for first downs and a TD.

Fading? WTF are you talking about? And you must've missed his OT kickoff, it was about 4 yards deep into the end zone. Short? I think not. And you have to play for the FG in that situation, why would you risk turning the ball over with a pass when you are in FG range with a kicker who's been near perfect all year? I know you hate Coughlin, but don't be ridiculous, he made the right calls. Feely just couldn't connect.

Presence, you mention the one kick Feely put deep. In recent weeks he's taken to squibbing the ball on occasion. He has definitely lost some leg strength over the last month. I'm willing to give him a pass for a missed FG, especially in light of how good he has been earlier this year. My beef isn't with him. Coughlin is to blame, again, by playing not to lose in OT. That's not true. There's not a QB in the league who hasn't thrown an int. Everyone does. Please tell me why you would take a chance throwing the ball when you are ALREADY IN FG RANGE with a guy who is NEAR PERFECT all year? That's not playing not-to-lose, it's playing smart.

i agree, after freely's 2nd missed FG, and that tiki run - coughlin should of played for the mid-pass or TD. this guy was 7-8 40+ yards all season...should of made them kicks.
