I seriously despise people that act that way. How many people look out for the integrity of the game instead of ways to malign teams, locations, and players they hate for whatever reasons? Being a fan should mean that you are very dissapointed by things like Spygate even if you don't like the team at all. I think it's great to see history being made in such a great season. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

That was awesome. I didn't think they'd break all the records, but they did, and won the game to go to a perfect 16-0. Great, great team. That was a great game too. I disagree with many (including Cris Colinsworth) that they have to win the superbowl or else the season will be a failure. That's a bunch of a crap. They've already done all they need to do. They got 3 rings already, 16-0 is something really special. Plus the big records.

Also, I feel I should mention The 72 dolphins only played 2 teams with winning records. The Pats beat far better teams, on a longer schedule.

Patriots have really made this season exciting, and this game was a great example of that. They are always a threat to come back and win the game, even when they are down going into the second half and/or fourth quarter.

really? going 16-0 and all this talk about being the greatest team ever... and then not even being able to be the 2008 champs, and you would still consider this season a success?

Agreed. Whether or not you like the Pats aside, being sanctioned for cheating in one of your wins is a black mark for any team.

As a football fan I'd rather not have that team hold the record for most wins.

In that case, it's also important to note that few knowledgeable fans would consider the '72 Dolphins the best team ever. At the very least, the '85 Bears are almost universally regarded as a better team, along with possibly the '89 49ers and '79 Steelers, but those two are more debatable.

Such a huge part of it is their logo and the little blips for what quarter it's in...which is stupid.

And they take FOREVER to get the flag indicator up on the screen. On other networks they have it as soon as or sooner than the announcers say anything usually.

WTG Giants. So they lost, I don't care. Would've been really nice to take down the Pats, but they still played a hell of a game and have momentum going into the playoffs. Eli looked good for the most part, hope he can keep it up next week. Congrats to the Pats. They are truly a great team. GO GIANTS.

oh yeah.

the giants have nothing ot be ashamed of. they nearly beat the best team in the NFL. maybe one of the Best of all time.

if not for Eli imploding at the end i think NY would have won it. They should have momentum going into the playoffs.

also they showed how to beat them. beat up on the recievers and QB.
