The Boston Red Sox with the best record in MLB and winning the World Series.

The New England Patriots with the NFL's best record and perfect 16-0, heading into the playoffs.

The Boston Celtics with the NBA's best record at 25-3.

Congrats to the Pats*, they played hard this season. hopefully they'll be able to get a long rest during the playoffs and be ready for next season.

once vick gets out, and they get a head coach, they should be fine.. Falcons are my second most hated team. Take a guess at no. 1.

To The Presence, it is sad that if your team does not sit down key players for ANY game it will be a let down to the fans. I pity you at that. As a fan, I want my team to compete hard every single game and make it a blowout. If it were you, the Pats would sit their starters after first half for most of their games. There will be no records, no pride, no fun. Good thing there arent many fans like you. If I were a Giant fan, I would want them to beat the patriots (or any other team) no matterwhat the playoff consequences are.

In the grand scheme of things, a hard fought victory this weekend means zero. No one is saying that the Giants should go out and roll over, but there is no reason to start/play players that have been getting abused all year just for pride. And could you imagine the backlash if Jacobs or Umenyoria were to be lost for the playoffs? The NY media would run Coughlin out of town (moreso).

Most reasonable Giants fans understand this.

I am neither a giants fan or hater. But, looks like the playing 100% against the pats in the last game of a supposedly "meaningless" game to lot of the "reasonable" giants fans paid off for the giants.

You cant argue that the game had no effect on their playoff outcome.

Congrats to the giants, I didnt expect them to win, but I praise Coughlin for probably making the best decision of his career in the last game of the season.
