So why does he want the K8NSNXP-939? That thing's just got too much to deal with in my opinion. Anyway, just to let you know, the memory controller on the A64 seems to be a bit picky when it comes to running dual channel memory, and I have the suspicion that the Nforce3 might make it worse. I myself have not been able to achieve a stable system configuration with my gig of corsair valueram in dual channel. My advice to you would be to go with a cheaper, more reliable board (maybe the Asus A8V revision 2). If you want the Gigabyte mobo, make sure you buy RAM that is on the "recommended list" for either the motherboard or the A64. These two lists are a bit different (so im not sure if that means all of the memory modules are validated or just some of them). And even before you make your purchase, I think you should pay close attention to the return policy so you dont get stuck with incompatible memory as I did. Now I believe the Ballistix are on the list, but I would definitely stay away from any corsair memory as there have been like half a dozen threads about how unstable they are with the Gigabyte board.... So yeah.... Good luck!
