My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939 and I pretty much set everything up in my system except for the Video Card and Monitor, I haven't got them yet. I turned it on just to make sure it runs ok so far. Everything works fine, it stays on. However when I start it up it gives me a long beep which is normal, manual says that means everything is successful. Then the beep sort of gets cut up in the end making it into one long beep then two short beeps. I'm not sure if this is normal or if its an actual error? Manual says the two short beeps mean Parity Error. Is it just because I don't have a Video Card hooked up? It doesn't come with an onboard. Is it nothing and I'm just being Paranoid? Or is there something wrong? This system cost me 4000 Dollars and I saved up for a year. I don't want all my money going down the drain because of one simple mistake or a faulty hardware. Please someone help, good thing is I don't see any smoke!
