Thoughts on this board? I am debating ordering it today for an i7 setup. I want to do mild overclocking is all.

good board and widely used - which is helpful in that you can find a lot of gigabyte overclocking guides out there. I'm using the ud5 variant without so much as a hiccup.

Ok, I was kind of worried about it because there are only 4 reviews down, so I don't know if it's an unpopular board. It is really new with USB 3.0 though.

oh didn't realize it was the newer one with usb 3.0 - no comment I guess though I don't suppose it's much different than the earlier revisions.

I decided to go with it. It's missing a few features of the ASRock I'll miss like the onboard reset/power buttons and LED. But it's also brand new with USB 3.0 and more PCI-E slots, so I'm hoping it turns out to be a winner.

I'm using the GA-EX58 UD4P. Cool mobo. The new UD3R would surely be a winner, lol. For mild overclocking, the UD3R would just do fine.

I think most reviewers did their reviews for the original (non "A") boards without USB 3 or SATA 6gbps. So now they couldn't be bothered to do it for the new variants.
