Nobody uses lucid virtnu software because it cripples your GPU performance. I'm not even sure that HD3000 would appear in device manager with lucid virtnu, I haven't tried. What I do know is that it guts your GPU performance, you can read web reviews everywhere indicating this. Well I can't say nobody but the only reason to use it is for power savings.
Instead of attacking the messenger, just go and ask the guy who produced this result whats up. What gives? It should not say Hd3000. Period. If he was using Lucid Virtnu, his score would be substantially lower - because virtnu cripples your performance.
Someone ask the guy that produced the result, IMO
Last build I did was a Z board with Lucid and GTX580 Windforce...and that showed HD3000 in DM as it must do in order to be used....However as far as performance hit with the Lucid software, I dont know
No, lets clear something up. If you're using a Z68 board, HD3000 will not be in your device manager unless:
1) You're using Lucid Virtnu software
2) Don't have a discrete card.
If you have a discrete card, it (HD3000) will not be in your device manager. It (HD3000) is also not in the heaven benchmark results tab. Because of this I believe that this test (if real) was using the new Z77 lucid software which combines iGPU and discrete performance.
Good lord. Thursday needs to get here already, don't you agree balla?
Yeah, I have a z68 board and thats a bunch of crap. It will list your primary graphics device driver UNLESS you are using the onboard iGPU. So they are either doing a photoshop job or using the new Z77 lucent software, which combines iGPU and discrete cards to complement each other in 3d apps.
The retail versions of GTX680 will unlock from 700 to 1006 MHz at 1AM on the 22nd of March.

The same guy over at overclock.net re-ran the heaven benchmark in full screen mode, same settings.
It scored HIGHER. If this is all legitimate, then it scored higher in full screen PROBABLY because windows aero hogged a small amount of processing performance. Either this guy is legit, or he is the king master troll.
EDIT: A different guy in that thread threw up his stock hd7970 results at the same settings. http://www.overclock.net/t/1231113/gigabyte-gtx-680-2gb-already-arrive-at-my-shop/520#post_16752346 TL;DR 55.8 fps on hd7970.
Isnt that guy using a Core I3 2100 to test?
No, that was the first guy.
There are two different people, well three actually.
The OP, a guy who stepped in and released the updated driver and updated gpu-z pics, and a third guy represented through a well respected former staff of OCN stating the first guys results were off and even though he was under NDA, the second results (80 fps vs 54) is what he's getting.
The guy is trolling people hard. Notice the long-time member who gave a decent and respectable post used a screenshot of his Heaven result.

Gotta love those newly registered folks who join to post benchmarks for us with their very first post  Kidding aside, we'll know for sure in 3-4 days. I'm sick of the questionable / fake slides that litter the net.
Would you rather break the NDA if you signed one to prove someone wasn't doing it right on a forum using your legit name or one you just made up behind a couple proxies?
