I upgraded my wife's PC to Phenom X4 9950 and the Gigabyte MA-790FX-UD5P combo. The motherboard came with an F3 Bios version.
As always with a new motherboard I always go into the BIOS first to setup the parameters but When I press the "DEL" key to go in the BIOS it says "entering Setup" but it took me to the blinking cursor and just sits there. So I tried many times and I concluded that it's hit and miss as far as going to the BIOS with this new motherboard.
I flashed the BIOS to the newest version "F4" but it didn't help. It still acts the same way. Also everytime I select the PC Health Status in the BIOS the PC just locks up hard. I have to RESET or just turn the power off.
Anyone have any idea what is going on with the motherboard? It boots all the way now even with the problems i've mentioned.
