I've never posted to this portion of the forum, but I just had to let you know about this new motherboard.
Gigabyte has created the ABIT KT7 Raid and ASUS K7V "KILLER"
THE GA-7ZXR
This is one of the easiest boards I have ever dealt with.
I ordered it from a website about a week ago and got it on Saturday.
Normally, I don't practice buying new components until they have been tested by reputable and known organizations and forums, but using Gigabyte components in the past with no problems pushed me to buy this board.
Everything is very well laid out, but you will have to install your memory before your video card. Gigabyte chose to place the IDE connectors inline with one another and they placed the ATX power connector on the opposite side of the memory banks. They were the only "questionnable" issues I had with the board.
Just thought some of you might be interested in a motherboard with Raid support that isn't made by a manufacturer that starts with a VOWEL. HA HA
