If I was that person you describe I would probably ignore the guy's comments like 99.9% of the other users have done because they all know the internet is infested with imbeciles...that's no secret nor is it a surprise. Secondly, I am not sticking up for him as much as I am trying to understand your fixation on this particular subject and on him. I agree that his supposed hatred towards women is wrong but I suspect that it is just something he says to get a rise out of certain people...namely, in this case, you.

I agree that this is turning into a fixation, but this sort of public seething hatred of women should not be allowed. The only reason I can give for that is that it is wrong - and not the kind of "wrong" that it is to some people and not others. I have had girlfriends in the past who have been on the receiving end of physical violence, and the mental scarring it leaves is horrific.

Ach, in a way, I suppose you're right. The reason I'm not leaning towards that conclusion much is because it's something that he's spread across several threads, and has gotten worse over time.
