I have a Pioneer stereo w/ a speaker that just started sounding bad. I took it apart, and found the problem. There is a rubber-like material that surrounds the cone part and holds it in place. This has completely come unglued from the cone. I believe that the speaker can be fixed by re-gluing the rubber part back onto the cone. I have no idea what kind of glue to use?? Any suggestions?? My system is now probably 9 years old, but otherwise in very good shape.
