I'm 5'10", 217 lbs., currently cutting fat. Just got back into exercising in October. I'm currently doing CrossFit as my main workout. I will most likely be adding a Starting Strength variation to my workout schedule this year. These are my goals:
400 lb. deadlift
300+ lb. squat (need to get my form dialed in)
175 lb. shoulder press
20 consecutive pull-ups
185 lb. body weight at 10% body fat
My main goal is to just get healthy and fit. I've never been overall fit in my entire life, so I want to build a good solid base of strength, cardio, and speed over the next 11 months, and get my body to a healthy weight. After I accomplish that, I will focus more on specific strength or sport-specific goals.
The 20reps on the pull ups will be really tough mate! Strict reps that is, not kipping reps like crossfitters.
Lots of solid goals here lads! Lets see who can get their goals

Nothing wrong with kipping pull-ups. More power is produced, which is the goal. Right now I can do about 3 reps kipping, so 20 reps kipping would be a big improvement. I don't think I could get 20 strict in a year, but that doesn't mean I won't try
