Well, I finally decided to sit down and try and get this Venice to 2.7GHZ.

Runs 2.5GHZ @ 1.45 no problem, but to get it to run stable at 2.7GHZ, I think it's gonna take a big VCore bump.

Right now it's priming at 2.7GHZ @ 1.55v, so far, so good.

Temp while running P95 according to Sandra is 44*C.

How do you guys feel about big voltage bumps for a 200mhz gain???

1.45-1.55 for 200mhz, I dont know if that's a very fair tradeoff.

I know there are a lot of you guys with Venice 3000+s @ 2.7GHZ, what voltages are you using?

Just out of curiosity, did you have any issues with your set up? Like hard crashes in Direct X 9 games? I have a similar set up and my system is totally fubar on WoW and FarCry (but not Doom 3).

No, sorry, my system is rock solid after the 7/4/05 BIOS update, before that it was a nightmare though.
