Good/cheap temp probes

I'm looking for a simple, fairly cheap temp probe. I'd like to go under twenty, including s/h. So far, the best I've seen is the CompuNurse or whatever over at icoolpc for fifteen, w/out s/h. Anyone seen anything better?

u could pick up a small themometer from the store for a few bucks and stick it inside ur case for case temperatures....

Stop by your friendly, local Radio Shack store and ask for SKU# 63-1024 Dual-Display Indoor/Outdoor Digital Thermometer, on sale for only $9.97 {normally 19.99} through -7-28-2002. You then can put the probe in your case to monitor inside case temps and also monitor room temp OR you can mod the unit by moving the inside thermistor outside the thermometer case to have 2 probes for the inside of the case!

Note; these particular thermometers are not going to be available for too much longer, the 0.07 in the price means the RS will be discontinuing this model very shortly; a new design is most likely in the works.

At any rate these thermometers are a pretty good deal at $9.97, modded or 'stock' it should get the job done.
