Ok, I've been looking at getting some new headphones. Something in the $60-80 range. Looking for big, closed headphones that have decent to good bass.
I have dont alot of looking but I found two interesting sets. I like the Sony MDR-CD580 which cost $89.95. I was told at one time that Aiwa is Sony's high end audio division, whether or not its true, has yet to be proven. But I have an Aiwa portable CD player that I am extremly pleased with. So I decided to check out their selection of headphones. I found this model HP-X222 to be very similar to the Sony's above. The only real difference being that the Aiwa's are 2mm smaller, and the cord being 1.5 ft shorter. Not a big deal. The biggest difference being the price. $29.95/
So how is it, that Sonys highend audio division is selling headphones that are almost completely identical in spec for $60 less?
Edit: Opps pressed enter too soon.
