Johnnie Walker Black Label is a very good scotch for the price but I have to admit that I have never tried the red or blue label's. Anyone care to comment on the differences?
Think of any hint of taste in that scotch that you think might make it unpleasant/sting. Red has slightly more of it than black and gold, slightly less of it than black. Aging (or filtering depending on the type) takes the 'bite' out of liquors. I can't comment on JW Blue because my income doesn't qualify to drink it.

I have had the Johnny Walker Pure Malt (also labeled as Green) at Heathrow airport. They were giving free samples away and selling 2 - Litre bottles for 50 pounds. Dirt cheap and it came with a leather carrying case. Best scotch that I have ever tried by far. I love that stuff.
