I was playing on SKA clan COD 4 server on Sunday and got kicked off because they didn't like my "Roy Fokker" name. WTF, it's a Robotech char.- jesus people!!~!!

Happens to me sometimes too. Basically they invent an excuse to kick you because you're playing too well. My favorite is "bunny hopping" in Battlefield 2. Basically jumping while running so as to throw off their aim. Instead of just moving their mouse side to side, they've got to actually aim up and down too. I guess some people can't master the multitasking this requires. So if you start whipping the admin's butt too hard they usually kick you.
Happened to me last night. I was pretty much flying choppers the whole time. I found a good pilot to fly for me and I would man the gunner position. We were owning their choppers with tv missiles. I jumped out at one flag and waxed one of the clan member with my shotty and he kicks me for hopping. Lame. There are lots of other server though so I just go find another.

Good thing the Germans and Japanese didn't figure out all they needed to do was hop around the battlefield in WWII or we would have never been able to win the war.

Honestly, I think bunny hopping is the worst thing in multiplayer FPS. It's absurdly unrealistic. Yeah, I know FPSs aren't typically very realistic, but they make compromises with how quickly you die to make the game more fun. Bunny hopping doesn't make the game more fun, it's just stupid. As long as they make it clear ahead of time that they don't want bunny hopping on their server (I assume they didn't), there's nothing wrong with booting someone for it.

lol, it's not me. I've noticed it happen to other players. One guy says something incriminating, another asks if he's gay and he answers yes. Then someone else starts typing "OMG HES A i love you BAN". Then he gets kicked.

So I make it my personal mission to set my spray to disgusting pictures, goat.cx is one of the best. There's also a naked cartoon hitler with a hard-on and dildo toys laying around him, giving the heil sign. That one really pisses the 14 y/o's off. (mostly because I found out that one or two of them are white supremacists).

similar thing happened with quake...we told the guy to come back.

At that point and every point after, no matter which team he was on we all killed him repeatedly.

It was so lame yet so funny at the same time. Hopefully he didn't kill himself over it.
