You didn't do anything wrong. You shouldn't have had to check it - they should have got it right to begin with. Just call them and have them send you the correct model and a pre-paid shipping label for the returned one.
Yea, I'm just hoping they reimburse the shipping and maybe get the right monitor on better shipping. I ordered the monitor last Thursday night, and got it today. My other parts are here for the most part and I was excited to try my new screen out. From the looks of it I won't get the right monitor until next week now.
I would tell them the following:
1) You'll ship it back, on their shipping label (no cost to you out of pocket)
2) You're going to keep it until you have the correct monitor, since you don't have a monitor to use otherwise.
Don't put any more time or effort into this than absolutely necessary, in the end this is STILL their mistake. You have done absolutely nothing wrong, & you're under no obligation to front money for shipping.

Unfortuantely they are closed, and I can't call today. I hope they do overnight it as I don't really want to wait another week for a new monitor.
