Hi guys,

I have recently received a RMA replacement for my card and just finished reinstalling the driver etc. I ran the latest GPU-Z and apparently my PCB 1 temp is 190oC at the moment.

I know the sensors should be working as PCB 1 temp read at around 60oC when I first boot into Windows.

Below are my readings at idle after 1-2 hours of basic software installation:
GPU 1 reads 57, PCB 1 190, GPU 2 49.8, PCB 2 47.5.

Fan Speed : 40% @ 712 RPM

Does this mean I would have to RMA this one as well?

Can you post a screenshot of your GPU-Z readout? I'm using 0.2.5 and I dont' see 2 temps for PCB. The one I have is showing 45.5C though. 190C does seem very hot, but I'd be most concerned about the core temp. There's some reports of cards burning up due to improper contact with the heatsink, so I'd keep a close eye on temps. Maybe inspect the contacts from the bottom of the card or tighten the screws up from the back.

I'd think the whole card will melt or burn if PCB is @190C..? Got to be GPU-Z error.

Agreed... That doesn't even make sense. If the gpu itself only gets up to 80-90C, how would the PCB get up to 190C? That's 374F! That's about what you'd bake a cake at.

GTX 280 will automatically throttle at 105c, and should not exceed 95c under normal conditions. 190c is clearly a GPU-Z error. Try latest RivaTuner for more accurate readings.

I bake at 350 f typically, so this is higher then the temp at which I bake things in the over...

If that was your cards temperature it would catch on fire, literally.
