Do you recommend buying the boxed game or downloading it from the PS3 store?

People asking about the ? missions. They are set for specific characters, so if you are Franklin and it is a Michael mission, there will be no one there. Make sure you do the one with Michael in a little park where a guy wants to legalize marijuana. That was awesome.

I noticed that too. You must be a certain character. Also, I hope these missions don't go away. I want to do more of them before going forward with the story.

Yeah, seems fine. Not much slower than GTA4 on PC.
I would think DVD load times would be faster than xbox.

You have to install to the HDD on both systems. With the 360 there are two disks. One to install and one to use when you play.

Ah ok. I'm new with the PS3 and my other games don't give me the choice to install (NHL14, RDR). So GTA5 need to be installed? That's a good thing.

When the game starts it will auto start the install for you.

Also there are reports that using the psn digital version has issues. Similar issues to installing the Xbox 360 play disk. Namely lots of texture pop in and issues with the environment loading.

I've got the psn digital version and I have nothing to complain about. I have seen texture pop but only if I'm really looking for it, basically it doesn't stick out

I also used the paper map to find the airport, where I stole a private plane and buzzed the island, until I flew over the military base and got shot down with a very short warning (thought it was an airfield I could land on). I also took the tram to the top of the mountain, but didn't see the trail and idn't have a good way down so I jumped.

Where can you get a parachute?

Damn bar. I picked up my copy yesterday but went out to a bar and didn't get home until super late so didn't get to play yesterday. Tonight I'm dedicating to this game.

Point of the side missions is so you can explore and earn more money, especially when you first start out. I couldn't find a parachute I don't think you get one until later. I went looking to buy one and couldn't figure where I needed to look.

Edit: parachute can be bought at ammunation. But you have to unlock it first.

Yeah you will need to buy gun upgrades, car upgrades are expensive. There are going to be mini games later too which will probably cost money. It's how you play to a certain point but you do need at least some money.

Yeah, you can buy and sell stocks...I lost money that way. You can buy property, and manage it too. That also will cost you money. There is more stuff I haven't figured out yet.
